Bush in Ocala,Fl Yesterday
From the Gainesville Sun 20,000 people in the Villages (this is a large subdevion in southern Marion county. I cannot believe 20,000 people. I would have to see pictures. If Bush had 20,000 it would have made big news.Anyone from Florida know about this?

1. Orlando Paper
Orlando Sentinel estimated 15,000 -- who knows? My guess is that is an exageration, but I wasn't there (thank goodness).

3. The Villages is huge!
We had planned to buy there but felt it was much too large and bought in another community just a couple of miles away. The Villages is in 3 counties, Marion, Lake, and Sumter. Not sure exactly how many houses, but last I knew there were about 49,000 homes. For some strange reason it is very republican even though the people who live there are retired people from all over the country. Mel Martinez and Jebbie have been there for rallies many times, so I'm not surprised that the smirk was there yesterday. I can believe that there was 15,000 to 20,000 loyal followers. I wonder if they required those who came to sign a loyalty oath.
