My 8 year old voted for Kerry. 37 times.
She says she just logged on & off Nickelodeon and voted every time. (Yes, we then discussed fairness & honesty).

Voter fraud in my own home. Sheesh.

4. Good parenting!
Glad you had a little talk about it. I hope that I would have the good sense to do exactly the same with my 9-year-old.

:D

5. My 6 yo old voted today in the school's mock election
He said, "I voted for Kerry cause I thought you would mom."

I replied, "Usually I vote for Greens but yes, next month I will vote for Kerry." He pumped his little arm and whispered, "Yes!". Guess he was glad he got it right. *l*

But I do wonder if he now thinks I usually only vote for people with the last name Green? *l*

7. Oh yes. Have two precocious little ones running around here. *g*
I hope we are teaching them well. And I fervently hope that the election messes of today are gone by the time they are voting. (And registering for the selective service. *ulp*)

8. Heh, My daughter voted for Nader in their mock election.
She sees me and my dad get into some very heated arguments over this stuff and she didn't want either of our feelings hurt. Kerry won the class by a large margin.

I thought i was being cute when i responded with "Yes he steals candy from little girls" Well guess what my precious said at my work one day visiting when she heard people talking about the election. Oh i am so bad...

12. that's all right---
shhhh--one of the women at my work voted nearly 200 times for Kerry and she is 58 years old! (Her kids are grown--and all support Bush anyway!!!)

No biggie--everyone knows that interent polls aren't scientific. And it feels good to win something.

I don't think she meant to cheat--she was bragging about it--she thought it was supposed to be like American Idol voting (!)
