Beat the Repugs at their own game |
|
If you've noticed Bush and the repugs are labeling Democrats as liberals. Like by calling us liberal, there must be something wrong with all democrats, using it to perpetuate their own bigotry.
Since they call us the Liberal Party now is our time to start calling them the Fundamentalist Party.

I've been calling them the Christian Taliban but the Fundamentalist Party will be a really fun name to use.

6. They're Radicals, Actually |
|
Spending without any accountability, going to war on false premises, supporting Bush at all counts . . . I'm sorry, that's not conservative. Right-wing radicals are what they are-- right-wing radicals going for power, and having totalitarian tendencies, too-- but first and foremost, they are radicals. Most liberals and progressives by contrast, are not radicals.

It's used so often that people jsut get that "eyes glazed over" uninterested look. If we want someone's attention we need to find a newer word.

Why don't we pick the best perjorative term--and start pinning it on them constantly?

11. 5 different terms already |
|
It's a good idea, but it'll never work because we can never agree on what word we're going to use. Like Red Ink Republicans, that's what we should have been calling them all year. But, uhm, we forgot.
