Republican DIRTY TRICKS on Illinois ballot!!!!
Edited on Wed Oct-20-04 10:54 PM by in_cog_ni_to
The Democrat running against Henry Hyde was not in the correct District on the sample ballot that was printed in the newspapers!

Christine Cegelis was listed in a district to be running against a repuke who is actually running unopposed. They had Henry Hyde listed on the ballot as running unopposed! This is in Dupage County in Illinois. These people will do ANYTHING to win. The election official from Dupage County said it was an unfortunate mistake, uh huh, riiight, we believe you! NOT! He said they are scurrying to fix the ballots. Bastards. Cegelis received 43% of the votes 2 years ago and has a VERY good chance of beating Henry Hyde. Would that be SWEET or what? If only they could print her name on the damn ballot! :grr:

This was just reported on our local news. I don't have a link. :hi:

1. There are no accidents... only conspiracies.
Remember that!

2. Are you being sarcastic?
I KNOW this was not an accident. When I saw that it was a DEMOCRAT whose name was printed in the WRONG district, I knew the fucking repukes were at it again. :grr: Why is it always a Democrat whose name is left off the ballot or printed wrong? Funny how none of this shit use to happen before. The mistakes in this election are OBVIOUSLY not mistakes. They're all too convenient.

3. I'm saving all the threads and articles about election fraud.
When I went to the dem headquarters to get help with my absentee ballot today, they said 'are you going to turn it in at the b.o.e. and I said "I kind of want to wait til the last day, it's so scary this year." Blank stares. I said "I have read so many stories about fraud already." Blank stares.

But then when you come on DU and read this night after night, it becomes a pattern.

I went ahead and turned my ballot in, but I'm still nervous

5. I have been begging for a thread about tracking

these Fraud Incidents.

No one seems interested.

Being proactive and gettiug the word out to other states is critical.

To my knowledge everyone is reacting andshocked but there is no clearing house, that I am aware of, anywhere.

Correct me if I am wrong.

7. Don't wait for someone ELSE to do it!! Start it yourselves!!
Just copy the "fine points" into a document, and start a thread, and hit "paste"!

Besides, I think someone has already started one....but I don't have time to go find it right now.

It would benefit all of us, if you were willing to do it!!

10. Same here....hope someone is keeping a list of these em..."mistakes"
And I'd love to know of any mistakes that happen that clearly favor a Democrat. I think someone mentioned one the other day but that makes 1 to Repukes 5 or 6.

9. An update.
Christine Cegelis is holding a press conference about this TODAY. Unfortunately, I will be gone most of the day and will probably miss it. If someone in Illinois happens to catch the press conference, would you post about it here, please? Thanks!
