Conservative Christian group enraged over Wynonna singing to lesbians!

Singer Wynonna Judd is getting angry e-mails and threats of boycotts from conservative Christians riled up over her plans to perform for lesbian vacationers on an Olivia cruise liner. MSNBC.com's Jeannette Walls reports that the Traditional Values Coalition calls Judd's plans to sing on a January 29-February 2 Olivia cruise "disgraceful" because it "conflicts with her professed Christian faith." The TVC Web site goes on to suggest that Judd has been "misled by the mainstream media on the origins of same-sex attractions and the self-destructive results of such attractions." TVC is asking its members to contact Judd to ask her to cancel the booking, saying, "Urge her to study what the Bible says in both the Old and New testaments about homosexuality...to learn how faith in Christ has set men and women free from bondage to this life-controlling condition." A spokeswoman for Judd told Walls, "We have no comment on that at this time." Repeated calls to Olivia were not returned to Advocate.com.
