Scary thought.
Edited on Thu Oct-21-04 05:11 AM by BillyBunter
Jimmy Carter is 80 years old, and has been out of campaign politics for 24 years. I just saw Chris Matthews interview him on Hardball, and Carter is more lucid, more articulate, far quicker on his feet, and has a better grasp of facts, than Bush does. I'm admittedly an unabashed fan of Carter's, but anyone watching Carter's interview, and comparing it to Bush give a scripted press conference, would walk away with the same impression.

2. Good man Carter.
Must tear him apart seeing what we are doing in Iraq. I am willing to bet it will go down in history like the Germans did in Spain. Pre-WW2 so get your history books out.
