Mass Emailing Effort re the Pat Robertson Controversy??
It seems as if this Pat Robertson controversy is the best thing going for the moment. It HAS to rattling the RW's cages! What if we do a mass email to CNN, MSNBC, FOX, ABC, CBS, NBC....telling them that we are supporters of bush* AND Robertson, so really want to know the truth about what was said and/or not said?? We need to keep this ALIVE. Maybe these networks would keep digging and make them both look like the idiots they are. Thoughts?

1. I think Pat R is already being marginalized by the Bushies. In a NYT piece
Karl Rove said he was in that meeting and said Bush never said that. Rove, Hughes and McClellan say that Robertson misunderstood. The article points out that Robertson has been wrong before. Therefore: Robertson is not credible, there's no more story, and Bob's your uncle.

2. you know ... when Pat Robertson says that on the eve of the invasion of
Iraq, Bush looked like "the most self-assured man I've ever met in my life." And then adds, ' I mean he was just sitting there like, 'I'm on top of the world,' " ....

I have to say it all has such a ring of truth to it ... we have seen some of it in the instances when bush has told the press "I am not planning on losing the elections" ... or when he cannot come up with any mistakes he has made, or when he looks disdainfully at people who are telling the truth .....or in any of the many arrogant faces he could not control during the three debates with kerry.

I think that just based on bush history ..... we can all be pretty much assured that Karl Rove, Scott McClellan and Karen Hughes are lying their asses off ... that is how much they care about truth, democracy and these United States... to lie for such an incompetent nincompoop of a president that they don't care how many people are repressed, or die on his behalf... is really a mark of treason ...
