Happy (one day late) 100th birthday, Tommy Douglas.
Tommy Douglas, greatest Premier of Saskatchewan, founding leader of Canada's New Democratic Party and father of medicare celebrated his 100th birthday yesterday (albeit, from beyond the grave - not that that would've stopped Tommy). Douglas, born in Falkirk, Scotland was Premier of Saskatchewan, between 1944 and 1961, during which time he worked to create North America's first universal healthcare system, which led to the creation of Canada's federal medicare program.

3. Now remember, you can vote as often as you like.

I say this, because I think most NDP supporters would consider it cheating, or maybe "Liberal," to vote more than once.

on edit: Wait a tick; no you can't. I just tried, but I was told I'd already voted in my current "vote window" between broadcasts of the show.

4. It is a little odd that they let you vote more than once.
Makes the eventual vote count meaningless, doesn't it?

5. I thought so. But the idea is to maintain an audience for the broadcast,
and the audience can vote after each show.

It's all quite silly, anyway. Wrestler Brett Hart is profiling contender Don Cherry on Monday.
