(unfortunately I can't attend, it sounds like some intelligent input is needed for the Q&A session)

> 6:30, at SIMPSON HALL (this is the Victoria Rd. campus) with swift

Documentary 'Stolen Honor' to be topic of discussion at local college

By Clarke Morrison, Staff Writer
Oct. 21, 2004 9:05 a.m.

A viewing and discussion of the film "Stolen Honor" will be held at 6:30 p.m. today at Simpson Hall on the campus of Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College.

The documentary is at the heart of controversy over Sinclair Broadcast Group's recent decision to order television stations it owns to broadcast a program about the film.

WLOS-TV, which is owned by Sinclair, plans to air a special one-hour news program titled "A POW Story: Politics, Pressure and the Media."

After the airing of the documentary Thursday, conservative radio talk show host Bill Fishburne will direct a question- and-answer session. Bill Forstchen, professor of history at Montreat College, and Scotty Morgan, a retired Air Force colonel who was a Vietnam prisoner of war for nearly eight years, will answer questions. Other panel members with significant Vietnam experience have been also been invited, according to Fishburne.
