"The legal notice put Democratic congressional candidate Christine Cegelis in the wrong race and listed U.S. Rep Henry Hyde as running unopposed. Cegelis is challenging Hyde for the 6th Congressional District seat, which represents parts of northern and central DuPage County and northwestern Cook County."

http://www.suburbanchicagonews.com/sunpub/naper/top/n1021ballot.htmOk, I know that it's a really busy season for them, and I know that they're only human, and I know that they've been staring at these sample ballots for too long, and I know that mistakes will be made, but couldn't these election officials bring in Mrs. Murphy's Grade Eight class to do proofreading for them? It would give the class a good lesson in just how important it is to get it right the first time. It also might give the election officials a good lesson in just how sloppy they're getting, but maybe they know it already.
Frankly, I like the three strikes rule.
