Rush Limbaugh sounding more desperate every day.
The big, fat idiot just accused Edwards of saying Christopher Reeve was in a wheel chair because of Dubya. He's also claiming that "liburls" fear God, that's why we're all atheists.
SPIN_SPIN_SPIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1. I don't think that's "Spin" so much as
dementia. They're really losing it...the whole lot of them.

4. dementia implies kind heartedness - this bunch is calculatingly
and deceitfully evil. Call it like it is. It for sure isn't spin and I sick of people calling it that. It is all this politically correct crap that has gotten us into this mess as deep as we are cause no one called it out before now (with rare exception).

23. calculating and dangerous
Except for a couple of hours of NPR in the morning and afternoon, Rush and Dr. Laura are about the only talk radio available in some sections of the Great Plains, so people who don't seek them out tune in anyhow just for something to listen to. Some mainstreet businesses even have that shit playing when you walk in.

Over the past few years this inadvertant exposure has had a horrible warping effect on some otherwise good smalltown people.

I have a Kerry/Edwards bumper sticker on my Jeep and during the three flipping hours that Rush spouts his vile bile people who are otherwise kind and friendly glare when I drive by. I know they are taking in his trash and projecting that anger out on the few openly Democratic people in this area.

I cannot overstate what a destructive force he is. You've heard of that book "What's the Matter With Kansas?" What's the matter is all the damned right-wing talk radio trash that plays for hours with no accountability for the lies that are spread and the hate that is spewed.

It's my understanding that Rush is also the only talk radio broadcast via Armed Forces radio overseas. If this is true it goes a long way to explaining why people in the military vote the way they do.

5. isn't it the fear of God, or at least the
consequence of non-belief, that makes one religious in the first place?

10. Yeah, if we atheists feared god, wouldn't that imply a belief in god?
Geez, Rush, please explain.

6. Oh yes, and Clinton and Hillary are responsible
for the lack of flu vaccine. Did you know Clinton tried to control the drug market and wouldn't let it do it's job? I know this because some nitwit wrote a letter to the Detroit Free Press. I think she got this from pigboy, word for word. Amazing how informed the right is.
Garbage in, garbage out.

The pigman knows that's what his audience wants to hear, they've been weened on it. it makes for ratings for the pigman.

Because he is losing it.

19. I was involuntarily exposed to Limpballs today. Yuck!
My neighbor had his radio blaring while he stopped his car.

I still can't believe people actually listen to him. He was spouting off about the end of the free world if Teresa should become First Lady! Oh, the humanity! They must be desperate.

25. after Jon Stewart tonight, I happened to catch Colin Quinn's opening
monologue, and he was claiming Edwards said that Bush was responsible for Reeve's death. Does anyone know exactly what Edwards said about Reeve?

I didn't think it was true, because I'm sure Edwards knows better than to say that.

26. This media matters page shows how Edwards' words have been
taken out of context and virtually reconstituted into something he didn't say. Evidently Quinn must be on the same talking points email list as the others hack bloviators. ;) http://mediamatters.org/items/200410130006

33. Lately Limbaugh has had an obsession with twisting Edwards' words.
The other day on the Randi Rhoades Show, she replayed excerpts from Limbaugh's show where the Oxycontin turd was playing excerpts from the Edwards-Cheney debate. All the anal abscessed-bastard would play were the parts where Edwards addressed Cheney's outrageous lies before he addressed the question given. When you played them back-to-back-to-back like Limpballs did, it made Edwards sound like he couldn't answer the questions and was constantly retracting what he was trying to say earlier.

Of course, Rush's dildoheads are unable to critically think about anything. So, my guess is that they came out of the show thinking, "Yeah! That Edwards couldn't answer the questions in that debate."

As for the earlier comment that Limbaugh is seeing his show fading with a Kerry win, I think a Democrat in the White House will energize shows like Limbaugh's because they'll return to their scripts from the Clinton Administration, where the President can't do anything right and they'll demonize everything about Kerry, his wife, his administration and anybody else associated with him.

31. Colin Quinn is beneath
contempt. I almost injure myself every time after TDS trying to get the channel changed before his painfully executed monologue. What exactly did this man do to get a TV show? He's stupid. he's uninformed. He's not in the least witty or funny. He stumbles around and tramples his punchlines. He's annoying on every level. And he's not eye candy. So, what's the appeal? Is it the GWB, hey, look, a sub-average guy like me can be president? Or a TV show host? Please explain Colin's appeal. I'm lost here.

28. Rush makes my head hurt
I can't take the intense stream of high decibel babbling that some people worship. I listened to him for a half hour today and he kept saying how the Democrats are worried about losing the election.

I have not met a single concerned Democrat. Our team is energized and can't wait to get out and vote. I don't know where he's getting his information from, but it's not from this planet!
