Send questions to "talk of the nation"
NPR's talk of the nation has representatives from both campaigns on right now to take questions.

My christmas wish: that all DU'ers would call or email (totn@npr.org) with the following question "How many times has George W. Bush been arrested?". They'll ignore one or two, but not dozens.

Rub their nose in it!

In a related topic, can you imagine if Theresa Heinz Kerry had killed someone with her car when she was 17?

The gasbags would still be tossing it around, years later. But there is a thunderous silence about Pickles' accident.

4. Done
I phrased it this way:
How many times have President Bush and Senator Kerry each been arrested, and for what offenses? Will this have any bearing on the outcome of the election?
If they address it the way it's written, the answer will be that Bush has a couple of DUIs and Kerry was arrested for participating in an antiwar protest ($5 fine, 1 night in jail).

So their arrests mirror their attitude toward society--one a profligate, self-centered, party boy, the other a serious, sober citizen participating actively in civic affairs.

In Lowell, Mass., the veteran and onetime antiwar activist, watches as President Nixon announces a Vietnam cease-fire in January 1973.

5. I'm doing it.
Slightly changing the wording to avoid the 'form letter' look.

6. I haven't listened to that stupid show since 'Selection 2000'
Neil Conan was kissing Bush butt from the get-go - I turned it off for good.
