Clinton eyeing UN SecGen post?
Drudge has a link to a story claiming this.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this crap circulated annually, and isn't there something in the UN charter that says the post has to be occupied by someone from a developing country? Isn't it currently impossible for Clinton to have the job?

can serve as Secretary General. Too bad. Clinton would make a kick ass US ambassador to the UN but I'm holding out for Mayor of New York!

5. Governor of NY
please.

Don't make Clinton into one more thing that NYC has taken from the rest of the state.

4. Unlikely. Secretaries General are nominated in turn by region
and the Americas had their turn already.
Asia or Europe is next.

Besides, the Secretary always comes from a
weaker nation.
