Local paper front page calls GOP "liars"!
I live in a small GIP (Grossly Ignorant Party) town in central Michigan. In one of our state house races, the state GIP-ers have put out a mass mailing accusing the Dem of voting for outsourcing and to increase her own salary. Both are, naturally, lies.

But, the local paper, on the FRONT PAGE, actually says they are "lies" - using that word. Many votes are switching as a result (not mine, I always vote the straight ticket - now more than ever).

So, the GOP-ite (running because his wife was term limited) is denying any knowledge, saying he's trying to run a positive campaign, bullshit, bullshit, bullshit.

A local GOP party store owner says he pays the ticket when one of his clerks sells to a minor - and that this candidate should do the same. And he's voting Democratic.

Would that the national media had this kinda cojones!

5. It must not be a Knight-Ridder paper.
They have their lips so far up corporate ass they can't print anything that isn't a paid advertisement.
