I'm getting the impression that Hard Conservatives are Jumping Ship |
|
From Pat Robertson's statement to Republicans in Congress and Generals who are speaking out about how the Bush adminstration screwed up with handling the war in Iraq including troop levels, it just seems clike conservatives are bailing on Bush.

4. Actually, that makes sense. Smirk is NO Conservative. |
|
What he is, defies definition, but the true conservatives are almost as disgusted with him as we are. Now all he really has left are the brain washed minions.

I think he couldn't resist the opportunity to remind the Little Usurper who God's Real Hitman is. The adulation Bush has garnered as God's mouthpiece has gotta be sticking in his craw.

6. Real conservatives have been taking off for the last few months. |
|
The American Conservative, the Cato Institute, various "real" conservatives have all seen that this administration has no interest in keeping government small, has an imperialistic outlook on foreign policy, are more than willing to suspend individual liberties to sustain their hold on power, and has sold out to the religious crazies.
There is hardly anything "conservative" about the current administration - some folks have finally had to come to terms with that. Hopefully, after bush co loses this election, there's going to be some bloodletting in the republican ranks.

7. A real conservative is abhorrent at this waste |
|
A conservative (small "c") believes in smaller government, no foreign wars, a balanced budget and fiscal responsibility, keeping religion out of government, conservation of the environment and our natural resources, politeness and political responsibility, and no legislation of bedroom politics, or what recreational activities or substances people pursue in their private time. (no wars on drugs, no legislating against gays)
Real conservatives vote kerry. Eisenhower is voting kerry from beyond the grave. He came to me in a dream last night and told me.
:-)
