Need help with election fraud
Edited on Thu Oct-21-04 05:24 PM by Corgigal
My in-laws live in Tampa Florida. They are both elderly and today while they were out in their drive way a few males approached them.
Nicely dressed armed with a laptop computer. Asked my father in law who he was voting for and he answered Kerry. They then asked if he was aware that they can vote electronically. He said he was.
The nicely dressed man then said he would be able to vote right here on his laptop. When my father in law asked how this would work they answered that they have a memory chip and will be giving it over to Florida Elections Supervisor. He also mentioned if you are voting absentee they can take that for you also. If you vote they then give you a Kerry bumpersticker.

My father in law didn't believe him so he didn't vote. I contacted Kerry people in Florida and they said this is occurring in Hillsborough county and really being pushed in the Sarasota area because of the hurricane victims. They said they have private investigators on it and this new scam is less then 3 days old.

I tried to get a hold of Moveon but no phone number, and if anyone know of who I need to contact let us know. My in-laws got a hold of the local TV stations. WFLA in Tampa is running a local story but this needs to get out to everyone.

Last thing, they are targeting the elderly and black areas.

4. If these guys get caught, that's a felony. These scumbags need to get
caught in the act.

Lesson to us all....don't tell people you don't know who you are voting for! Don't register with anyone other than a governmental agency (which can now be conveniently online in many places)! Don't vote anywhere except at an official polling place! And keep your registration card in your wallet at all times!

7. excellent.
Over at blackvoxvoting there is a national organized effort to deal with exactly such things. You can sign up for their newsletter too. Florida is obviously one of the hot states.
