What did those of you Catholics who watched "Tweety" tonight think |
|
of the two Catholics who were opposed to each other on his "Hard Ball" Fest tonight?
Seemed to me that Matthews was trying hard to position himself as a "church going" Catholic...but I saw him as a Moral Sellout...pandering to his "upbringing."
Who am I to judge Matthews...unlike Chimp...God doesn't speak to me, and as a "protestant" I've been cautioned that only GOD should judge sinners, evil doer's and the rest that the "Evangelical/Fundies" are always so quick to do.
But I'm married to a "fallen away Catholic" and as an Episcopalian all my life that puts ME in the "Fallen Away" category (if one wants to ignore the "Reformation") so...I'm interested
If you are a "Catholic Believer" or a "Fallen Away" did you feel Matthews's discussion gave you guidance? Or, was it Matthews "USING" his background to pump his ratings?
 It was an "interesting discussion" in many ways to me as a Protestant...my hubby (the "fallen away Catholic) got angry and asked me to turn it off....????
