Edited on Thu Oct-21-04 08:33 PM by ck4829
President - John Kerry

Vice President - John Edwards

Secretary of State - ?

Head of Homeland Security (if there is going to be one) - ?

All the other secretaries - ?, ?, etc.

Attorney General - ? (Definitely not Ashcroft)

National Security Advisor - ?

Anyone else - ?

1. Whereever he puts them, he couldn't go wrong with
putting the other presidential candidates in his cabinet, Howard Dean, Wesley Clark etc.. I think they would all make valuable contributions, even Lieberman might make a half way decent Secretary of the Treasury.

2. here's some thoughts
FCC Chair or Surgeon General or head of HHS-Howard Dean

National Security Advisor-Wes Clark, since I believe he can't be Sec. of Defense because of his recent service-if he can be S of D, that would be great!

AJ-Dennis Kucinich

S of State-I'd love to see Bill Clinton take this one, if he would. He could help reinstate our place in the world.

4. Tom Vislack
I want him out of Iowa so we can have Sally Pederson (Lt. Gov - D) be the incumbent going into 2006. Iowa loves incumbents and Vilsack has already promised he won't run again. Pederson is awesome and much more friendly to the party base than Tom. I would like Tom in some position like Commerce or Education.

8. first off, rename "Homeland" to "National"
We need to start the de-Nazification process ASAP. "Homeland" is too much like "Heimat", IMHO.

11. Agreed
The 1st thing I would do (If I were in charge), before signing any bills or anything, would be to change the name of that Department.

9. Howard Dean, Wesley Clark somewhere
Both have been out pushing for Kerry.

In my years of watching Presidential elections, I have never seen the losers of the Dem primary, on the road with the winner as I have seen this time.

14. Administration?
National Security Advisor? Wes Clark

Ambassador to United Nations? Bill Clinton

Attorney General? Elliot Spitzer of NY

FCC Commissioner? John Dean

Secretary of Labor? Dick Gephardt

Court Jester? Michael Moore

NO Senators or Congresspeople if they would leave a seat that could go to the GOP, similarly no Governors.

15. Secretary of Health & Human Services: Howard Dean
Secretary of Veterans Affairs: Wesley Clark

Secretary of Housing & Urban Development: Dennis Kucinich

Head of the EPA: Robert Kennedy, Jr.

Kerry should also offer posts (though I'm not sure which ones) to Dick Gephardt (sp?), Carole Moseley Braun (sp?), and other former opponents--just not Lieberman!

17. I'd sure like to see Gore in there.
Attorney General would be nice and he might enjoy prosecuting some of criminal activities.

18. Uh-oh
I remember when this was done a few months back.

And everyone recommended just about only white men.

I hope this thread goes differently...
