An evening with Ann Coulter... sort of.
I live in Tucson and at this time of year it is usually sunny and still warm in the evenings. Today however, we got hit by a cold front. Ann Coulter was in town.
She was here to screech at a Bu$hbot rally in retaliation for Michael Moore's appearance last week. She managed to draw a crowd of about 2000 to the University of Arizona Centennial Hall. By comparison, MM drew 15,000. At his event there were a few hundred Freepers trying to disrupt his speech. They were tolerated for most of the night until security removed some of them.
I arrived at the hall 40 minutes late as I really just wanted to hear a few minutes of the rant and experience the audience reaction. I was able to get a free ticket at the door which surprised me. There was no loyalty oath to sign either. She was late getting to the hall and the crowd was mostly seated, patiently awaiting her arrival. I have never been in the company of so many morons in my life! I walked to the stage and took a good long look at the sheeple. They were a mixed bunch of fairly normal but fearful looking folk. All ages were represented but the color scheme was pasty-faced white. Not a Negro to be seen in the house! Sensing no serious threat in the air, I decided to mess with them just a little bit. I had with me a deck of War Criminal Playing Cards (available from the Yes Men) so I strolled up the aisles handing them out one at a time. Most people had no idea what they were and I was able to hand them out quite freely.
However, it took the volunteer Young Republican security force only ten minutes to apprehend me and stop me in my treasonous tracks. They had a sheriffs deputy show me the door and I was cast out into the cold, dark night.
I am too old with too many responsibilities to risk arrest, so I kept my Bu$hco insults and SigHeil salutes to myself. All in all, it was a very enjoyable evening even though I did not get to hear Ann screech.
I like these cards a lot and carry them with me to leave on windshields (especially on cars with Bu$h stickers) and in other public spaces. I hope it makes people think more seriously about the direction our country is headed.

Ann-Thrax Coulter. I wish our official position on her visit would be to give that woman the loudest megaphone or speaker system and have her "perform" on the mall.

The more this woman opens her mouth the more she damages the Repuke movement.

BTW it is important to mention that her visit was FREE to the public and all she could draw was 2,000 yahoos while by contrast it was $5 to see Micheal Moore and he draw nearly 15,000 total.

The Young Republicans on campus are a band of thugs overall, they are headed by a hysterical Ann Coulter wannabe, and their members are typical lying sacks of shit.

They are goin down this election year I can tell you that.
