This is a long shot, but try deleting your cookies and all other temporary internet files. Simply click on "tools," then "internet options," then "delete cookies." After that, click "delete files" and check the "delete offline content" box before clicking okay. If you have some sort of spyware playing havoc with your computer, you might catch it by getting rid of your temporary internet files. After you do this, close out of IE and reopen it. May I also suggest downloading AdAware from a free download site.
