The morning "coffee" story.
Politics in the land of free speech.Excerpt:
...in Madison, Wis., vandals removed presidential signs and burned an 8-by-8-foot Nazi swastika in someone's front lawn.Gee, I wonder who those vandals were voting for. The person who wrote this article wouldn't have a clue as to why that is either, would they?
A typical "media day" for me.
I accidentally tuned into "the savage nation" the other day, and they were talking about burning down schools in L.A. because someone-heard-that-someone-knows-that-a friend-of-their-stepbrothers-sons-nephew was in a class and the teacher had a Kerry/Edwards poster in the classroom.
You have OXY-Rush on another station spending at least three hours saying that (insert any democratic point here) wasn't true and he's on the way to offering hours of rebuttal as to why everyone but himself was lying.
Sick of the radio, I turn on the TV, GAHHHH!!! It was on Fox news, and I get the pleasure of seeing six little groups of heads on the screen. Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, Eva Von Zahn, The Beltway Boys, and Tony Snow are all raving about how great Bush is, how the deficit is good for the economy and small businesses, how cutting funding to police and firefighters makes everyone safer, and how anyone who has registered democrat in that last 30 years needs to board a plane for the middle east, because only real red blooded republicans support our troops.
And that's just the tip of the iceberg. When the mass media spends all it's partisan energy energizing hate for one side, they don't seem to realize that the other side feels the need to protect itself from the constant onslaught of bigotry, and hate, that is spewed toward them constantly from the "liberal media."
