Coloradoans - A change in Coors commercials?

Now that Pete Coors is running for Nighthorse-Campbell's seat, I have noticed a distinct change in the Coors beer advertising tenor, during NFL games and the baseball playoff games.

Coors has long had the franchise green jacket for the ads with the most jiggly boobs/come-hitheriest girls (who only get wild with Coors-drinkin' guys, of course) and general party-down atmosphere.

I have noticed that their ads now just have a guy holding out a frosted mug, and the "Coldest Tasting Beer On Earth" tagline.

Noticed that? Think that's a coincidence?

1. I haven't noticed

usually I just tune out the Coors ads - or maybe it's just that I'm so entranced by the jiggly boobs that I don't even notice what product they're pushing.

I'll keep an eye out this weekend - it sure wouldn't surprise me...

2. Hmm, in 96, didn't Bob Dole have to express his distance from

the Dole Pineapple company? "No relation."

I wonder how the campaign laws really should address this . . .
