Coulter's recurring theme is that liberals are "out to get" Conservatives and conservatives are "victims" of all of us "radical" liberals.

This just reinforced the theme and will give Coulter hours of face time on the cable networks to whine about being a abused and attacked by liberals.

That being said, I can't for the life of me figure out how any liberal might have thought this was a good idea.....the only person I can think of who would have thoght so is Coulter's publicist.

I personally am out to get Coulter "conservatives", you know those that feel that McVeigh would have done a greater service by blowing up the New York Times building, or those who think the US should kill all Islamic leaders and and force the people into Christianity, and let's not forget those who would like to talk to liberals with a baseball bat.

This took courage, and perhaps it might show that we "liberals" are not going to take the bashing from Coulter and her ilk anymore.

The only stupid part was that they didn't practice more.

The actual pie-attack on Coulter is a misdemeanor.

Stupid stunt, IMHO, and just gives Coulter more publicity. I can only imagine what the reaction would be if some freeper threw pies at Randi Rhodes or Maureen Dowd. Most folks here would be calling for their heads, not calling pie throwing a "tradition of Democracy."
