A modest proposal: We're not at war. Go ahead and change horses.
Look around. This country is NOT at war. The administration has done NOTHING to put this country on a war footing: no tax increase to finance it, no mobilizing of heavy industry to equip it, no rationing to supply it, and no draft to man it. In fact, Bush is going out of his way to say he WON'T draft to man it.

Which is it, George? Is it a war or isn't it?

If yes, it's the worst-run war in US history. If yes, get on with it. Real leaders have the courage to ask the American people for sacrifice to contribute to war. Real leaders do not beg the public to shop and travel during wartime.

If no, you've squandered 1100+ American lives, 15,000+ more American wounded and how many thousands of Iraqis in this ego-fed debacle.

If no, then what the F*** is it?

If no, get out of the way.

:nuke:
