Why did the Boston police try to break up this celebration? |
|
So far, all the pics I've seen just showed a really energized and HAPPY crowd, celebrating the win of their team! CNN said the crowd was estimated at 40 to 60 thousand, but so what? Why didn't the cops just let them celebrate?
I remember years ago, when the Pirates won the pennant for the first time in 40+ years, and I was right in the middle of the celebration! I took my mother and aunt 'cause they wanted to go too! NOBODY got hurt, and finally after a couple of hours, we all just went home.

1. Fire and turning over a car |

I saw a picture of that yesterday. But I also heard the girl's brother said none of that was going on where they were. Just a beer bottle that got broken. So I don't know, we'll have to see I guess.

There were fires every where, smashed windows in cars, attempts to overturn cars, it was a pretty crazy scene.
