I was following a link off of Wonkette just now and it took me to this page.

If you're Salon or the NY Times you can requrie people to sign up to read your blather on the internet(s). If you're the Moonie Washington Times, requiring a sign-up just reinforces the notion that that's just one more place you don't need to go.

2. I read recently that it isn't even in the top 100 dailies
money sure talks.

Plus someone posted a ling to http://www.bugmenot.com the other day to read newspaper articles without having to register, all you have to do is put in their url and they give you a username and password.
