weird, unpleasant dream last nite about election day
It's afternoon, early evening the day after election. There are NO results publicized from any state. There is the assumption that it will be month(s) until the first results are released.

There is the comment from a few TV media that W is getting 70% of the white vote in most of the country.

Very unplesant dream that was related to problems on the job (in reality, I retired last spring) and other personal stuff.

1. my brother's dream
the other night, had Kerry winning the election. After the race had been called, everyone was waiting for W to appear and concede. Days passed, and still no public appearance/concession from W. Karl Rove appeared in his stead, with multiple excuses. Dubya never did appear.

3. I've recently had two dreams where John Kerry is my boyfriend
and he seems really nice and is massively in love with me, but it makes me uncomfortable. I don't think it's about politics.

5. Some dream analysts think
everyone in your dream is just a manifestation of yourself. Don't know if that makes you feel any better, tho. ;)

6. I've heard that
and think it's true, sometimes - for example, I'll occasionally have a dream with a child I believe is me, or some part of me that I've lost touch with. Other times I believe people in dreams are just who they are, or they have characteristics that are relevant to the problem the subconscious mind presents to be worked on in sleep.

John Kerry is my boyfriend because there are things about him that bother me, and that's been the case with every boyfriend I've ever had.

8. That's true -- but it's also true
that sometimes people have purely prophetic dreams, even if some of them are symbolic in nature. Some people have very explicit, non-symbolic prophetic dreams too.

10. You must be referring to bobbieinok's dream
because I think it's a pretty safe bet that John Kerry will never be my boyfriend. :)
