Jan 2005/Washington DC

It is a cold but clear and sunny day in Washtington. Theresa is wearing a red Valentino dress and a sensible white winter coat, she is standing next to her husband, the 44th president of the United States.

"I, John Forbes Kerry, do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States."

Spend 60 seconds a day visualizing this moment, we can make it happen.

3. I have to admit
Edited on Sun Oct-24-04 02:59 AM by Davion
I voted for Bush in 2000, was a vociferous anti-Clinton nut in the 90s, and only recently left the GOP. Bush upset so much, though, that I would have supported CARROT TOP if he ran against Bush this time. I was always far more anti-Bush then pro-Kerry, but recently (meaning in the past few DAYS) I have realized that I am now feeling the reverse. I am not just going to vote against Bush, but I actually think Kerry has the potential to be one of the better presidents in our country's history.

It feels SO nice to actually be voting for someone, instead of just against the other guy (as I did for Bush41, Dole, and even Shurb in 2k).

If the unthinkable happens and Bush wins (whether legitimately or not) I really think for the first time that I will be more upset that Kerry lost than I will be that Bush won. It's a good feeling.

(End of my gushing) ;)
