Does anyone remember this?
remember back in early 2002: it was Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld who were screaming that we were definitely going to get hit again with another terrorist attack! I remember this clearly. Almost every day, one of those guys was saying that it wasn't a matter of if, but when would we be attacked.

Now they're suggesting with the Wolf ad and their other rhetoric that if Kerry wins we'll be hit again. And the media says nothing about this!

God..please help me get through these next 10 days. sigh.

1. I Do
I totally agree with you. My impression is that the media is much tougher on Kerry than they are on W. It appears that in an effort to avoid the "liberal media" tag put on them by the right, they often ignore or gloss over issues that should be front and center. And simultaneously, over at the GWB network they don't even make a sincere effort to appear neutral.

why are they so easy on Bush? I mean..there are scandals galore, and the whole administration goes out of their way to be secretive. What gives?

4. They are owned by major companies that have vested interests
in the status quo.

The problems that affect us have no effect on GE or Disney.

A Kerry administration just might hurt their bottom line.

Sumner Redstone of Viacom said it best. He said he likes Kerry but he votes for what is good for Viacom. Republicans, he said, are better for big companies than Democrats, a sentiment echoed by the mullahs in Iran that also fear a Democratic administration, based on their knowledge of history.

The broadcast and cable networks may not take their orders from Iran but they sure do know what their own bosses want.

Is that clear enough for you?

2. The media has been failing the public for a long time now,
thank God for the INTERNET or most people would have
been absorbed the republican Borg by now. We desperately
need to take back our airwaves.
