The question is "Should international observers monitor the U.S. presidential election?" http://www.cnn.com/CNN/Programs/late.edition/Hopefully the CNN webmaster took the weekend off so he won't screw with this one.

This is not required for our elections, and why you all want this so bad is beyond me! This is not good for America, which ever party you support! Do you really think that this is a good thing?! What happened to my fellow Dems who fought for the rights of this country, and now are so eager to diminish them?! This is just sad.

Yeah... anyway if you recall my fellow freeper fuck Bush cheated his ass off last election and remember he is the only president in history to lose the popular vote and become president but of course being the typical inbred freeper fuck that you are you selectively chosing to ignore facts. God you people are sickening.

and a pathetic excuse for a Democrat. Because I choose not to buy into your mentality, and have my own opinion, I am cast aside as a traitor! You are a perfect example of why we are losing members! There are all different kinds of Democrats - left, moderate and conservative. I fall into the moderate. Those here are more then left. I thought this would be a site for free exchange of ideas, not a militant site that 'eats' all those who don't follow. So much for that!

again, I don't agree with the 'majority' here and didn't want to cause a hateful stampede at me! The last election was another that was to close to call, the media screwed it all up by making early announcements before all of the facts were in. I waited, patiently, for the days and weeks that followed hoping for the Gore win and it didn't happen. I then waited for the legal teams to decipher it, and then the results of numerous investigations. Sorry, I have never used the word 'stolen' and I won't use it now just to please the crowd. I looked at all of the facts and just don't think that it was, and I blame the media for causing this perception.

8. Noticing lately on CNN that I get an "Exclude" address as the results |
|
window is coming up.
My computer loads slowly because of our connection and after I vote, it takes awhile for the results window to come up. As it is processing, there is an address on the results window which gives an http address with some garbled stuff and then the word "Exclude".
Maybe this is usual, but I'm wondering if CNN now blocks any user votes that originate from DU??

16. Done. I think Jimmy Carter said that that would never happen |

though because the U.S. voting system does not meet the requirements set up by international observers. No matter which way this election goes, even if it's for Kerry, we need to set up a task force to correct our voting flaws, and I believe we have many. It's sad when other countries have a better voting system than we do, and it should be corrected.

19. But Carter needs to be visible all week |
|
He needs to do something dramatic to make sure that it is in the minds of the voters that WE NEED to have international observers!
He needs to visit a few polls sites and talk to exiting voters.
