3. good point. Althought there are many many news sources available |

to anyone with a modem, most Americans prefer to stick with a couple of sources who maintain friendly relationships with the Washington regime, to maintain access to briefings and such.
Although both AP and Reuters have had a few slip-ups, they have learned from the loss life and maiming of their personnel.
Now the rest of the world, that's another story, but not one of interest to the American mainstream.
