A soldiers post from Howard Stern's message board

I HAVE SOMETHING TO GET OFF OF MY CHEST
My name is Nick and I served in the Army and went to Iraq with the 4th Infantry Division. I have recently started listening to Howard Stern on a daily basis and hearing his views on President Bush. And I thought that this was the perfect place to post because I am now a big fan of Stern and I am 100% in agreement with what Stern has to say politically.

First let me say this, I know for a fact that the conservative assholes working up in the white house are afraid of Howard Stern! Why? It's simple, he's a man in a national syndicated position who refuse to kiss political ass. He's a man who only speaks about what many of us feel so passionatly about! This guy, as labeled as he is by the conservative population as immature and dumb, makes alot of sense, and he is listened to by millions, and it's breaking down their propaganda machine. If there is any way to start this message off I would give a message to Howard, don't give up man, don't let them beat you. It's important for people like you to speak out for us, for those of us who have died out there unjustly. To honor us, but to let the truth be known we are there against our will having to kill and be killed. Howard, do not let them beat you.

When I joined the Army back in 2000 I thought it was a no brainer, I did it out of pure patriotism, I rose my right hand and swore that I would defend my country against all those willing to take a life of the red white and blue. And swear to you all I would have given my life to this country if I needed to. But shit, have we ever drifted away from the ideal of defending our country. Now it's all about flexing our muscle. The Iraq invasion!? It's 100% bullshit. Bush had us go to Iraq, many of us to our death. And for what? Well I will tell you right now it wasn't to defend our freedom. It was nothing to do with national concern at all. Bush sent us out there for his own personal agenda and I feel sick to my stomach that I had to fight for somekind of cause that did not exsist. Let me break it down for you.

If Bush was so concerned about this country and this so called "War on terror" then why in the blue hell did he send us out to Iraq who made no aggression toward America? Who made no threat to America? WHY, if Bush is so concerned with national security would he send the majority of our resources to Iraq and let countries who are known to be a threat (North Korea, Iran, not to mention Al-Queda) become stronger while we are occupied? And during the whole "Diplomatic process" before invading Iraq would he turn a deaf ear to weapons inspectors who were let into the country and reported there is no evidence of anykind of production of WMD?! No, FUCK NO!! Bush and his dumbass friends laughed it off and sent us in there anyway after claiming he wants to settle things peacfully!! God, whatever.....

Let me tell you all something, out in Iraq I lost 4 of my friends, I woke up to a really good friend of mine laying in a pool of blood after a mortar hit near our building! And now he's paralyzed from the waist down!!
I had to take 3 lives out in Iraq myself, and I want to know what for? Why did I have to do it? Killing three Iraqis, and it bears on my conscience ever since. And for what?!

Bush, you sent us out there for nothing, you sent us to our death for nothing. You sent hundreds of thousands patriotic troops out there, many to their death. More than you realize. Me? Yeah I am here typing, I am here breathing, but in some ways I feel dead inside for doing things out there as one of your political puppets. You are a lying sack of shit Bush, and you need to go. There is no excuse for what you have done, none what so ever!! Fuck you serving us your shit and telling us it's chocolate. Fuck you for telling us what we're doing is right. It's not right, we should not be there! It's time for your lying, arrogant, cowboy wanna be, evil forrest gump ass to take a hike. And never come back! You are lower than shit Bush! You arn't even human.

And before you leave, I want you to visit the families of the fallen, the babies of the soldiers who died who will never know their daddies because of your own agendas. I want you to look in their eyes, I want you to see their hurt, their pain. I want you to realize the pain you have caused. I want you to take a trip out to Iraq and become among the soldiers. I want you to see the death and pain there that you have given America's best.

Bush, you are a fucking coward!! It's time you left and go back to hell!! Do not ever come back because we're ok up here without you.
