"Memo: Wolves determined to attack within the United States" |
|
Kinda ironic that Bush thinks he can persuade people that Kerry is not going to deal with threats against the US (i.e. the "wolves") -- when he could look out his front window in Aug 2001 and saw them all over the lawn and didn't do a thing about it -- i.e. he had been receiving intelligence about the wolves all along, and did nothing about them.
Bush also seems to have a massive "wolf" breeding program on throughout the planet, especially in the Middle East. It was official policy to train and cultivate these wolves back in the 80s, and apparently no one ever gave any thought to what might happened if these trained wolves ever got out of their pens, but maybe they already knew that if they did get out, they could make money hunting them down....
Weird.
I like the eagle/ostrich ad, but if I were Kerry, I'd run pictures of flu virus replicating. "If Bush can't protect us against influenza, how can we trust him to protect us against a bioterrorist attack?"
(Bush certainly has made Osama's job easy for him. Recruitment is up, morale is high. And now, they can shelve their plans to acquire weaponized anthrax, and just get another 19 jihadists to catch the flu and then go and cough and sneeze in public, if they plan to kill some more Americans.)

7. Canis lupis is totally cool |

Yeah -- the metaphor that was chosen to represent the enemies of America is inappropriate.
However, these ads are not targetted at biologists -- they are aimed at the mentality of the "superstitious peasants" of the current age.

6. WHERE ARE OUR HOMES MADE OF BRICK???? |
|
We've got Ridge telling us to use plastic and duct tape, but everyone KNOWS that when the big bad wolf huffed and puffed, he couldn't blow down the little piggy house made of BRICK. I'm sure he'd blow through plastic and duct tape as fast as he would straw.
Bush needs to give every American a home made of brick. Otherwise, the wolves will win!!
Bush fails to protect America!

9. "We hate wolves because of their freedom." |
|
... and their family values.
It's really a remarkable choice of "threat" characters ... cooperative, protective of their young, in harmony with their environment, free, and aggressive only when directly threatened.
