Well, I guess I've stepped in it now. |
|
I received one of those talking point right wing memos that someone sent. Evidently they got my email From a Boy Scout parents list. Anyway I just couldn't let it slide so I answered all the talking points with the truth and sent it back out to all the recipients. It didn't take long for the guy to respond and he wasn't happy but what the hay, I just couldn't let it go unanswered. Told them I was tired of the right wing mix of truth and falsehoods. I guess my junk mail is going to increase dramatically. We'll see.

Why should you just have to shut up and be nice? I get those things all the time because the right wingers just assume that they have the right to impose their political (and religious) views on everyone they know. If we object they get all pissy.
I get so sick of people I know socially sending me unsolicited junk.

Most people will be thinking, "God I am glad he did that" or they will just ignore it and move on. Only freeptards will get angry with you because they can't understand how someone could have different views from them.

5. I heard a rumor to the effect that the Nat'l Boy Scouts |
|
wrote to all scout parents encouraging them to vote for Bush. Was your memo from the Boy Scouts (Nat'l or local)? If so, the IRS might be interested that a 501(c)(3) is endorsing a political candidate.
