Is anyone else feeling strangely fatalistic?
I realized today (as we were at a visibility event, waving Kerry signs and anti-bush* signs at passing traffic, fun) that I no long feel angry and tense and anxious about this election. I think everyone has made up their minds which way they will vote, and that there are maybe 3 people left in the country who are truly undecided. I think there is NO new info out there that would change even one mind from bush* to Kerry, or vice versa. I also feel that if we win this election, we are not finished fighting to take back the country, and that if we lose this election, we also must continue the fight to take back America. I don't think prayers will help either side (my god is stronger than your god), and that whatever happens, happens. It certainly doesn't mean I will ever give up fighting to make a sane America....but am feeling strangely calm. Maybe I'm just tired---it shouldn't be this hard.

1. My ONLY worry at this point
I have reached the point where I no longer worry about who will vote for whom, but I'm confident that Kerry WILL receive by far the most votes. My ONLY worry at this point is over "malfunctioning" electronic voting machines and other GOP theft attempts.

4. Time to GOTV!
I know how you feel, and BTW, it was fun today! :hi: it made me think just how important it was to never stop trying, that we must work to make sure we get every last vote we can, to make sure that we get every last vote to count and strive to encourage democracy to come flooding back to this country.
I came 5000 miles to have an American Dream, (to go with my American Dreamboat!!!) and I'm not about to watch that dream shattered by the Neo-Cons and their ilk.
