Michael Moore: How Do We Thank Him |
|
How do we thank this hero? I believe his books and movies and tours have been some of the most important contributions to turning this thing around. I know he has made money but he has gone beyond anything I have ever seen to wake up this country, especially the kids. I think we owe him bigtime.

I was surprised to see that my local Blockbuster had about 100 copies of Fahrenheit 9-11. (On a Saturday afternoon, about half were rented).

4. Unlike bush, Michael Moore has recognized his mistake and had made.... |
|
every effort to address that! I think he is a TRUE American hero for what he has done and is doing, his support of Nader was a BIG mistake and he is the first one to admit it which makes him head and shoulders above bush who can't admit he EVER makes a "misunderestimation" of anything.

it and is helping to get our country back...I'm sure he was sorry for the Nader thing, just didn't realize how bad this would be.

I think that makes him even more believable and effective. He has atoned and probably convinced more Greens and slackers of the absolute necessary of voting Democratic than any us yellow dogs ever could. I think he has shown that politics is real and pertinent and undid the blight of "there is no difference" and "It just doesn't matter" apathy.

8. Well, he has made plenty of money since Bush took over... |
|
with his books, movies, and speaking...not to mention he is more popular than ever, so I think that is enough. I am willing to bet very few people have made out better financially under Bush than Moore.

|
it's nice to see a non Repug making some money on honesty. And I believe he really does care about our soldiers and the poor in this country that this white house would like to ignore and most of us are too busy to think about.

10. How 'bout this idea....... send him an email of thanks from time to time.. |
|
He has plenty of money and doesn't need to be sent flowers or gifts, as seems to be the "thing" here at DU.
How 'bout working your tail off for the Party, and doing it with MM in mind? I think that's what he really wants.
If you hear about someone in trouble who needs help, do it with MM in mind, or even in his name.
How 'bout taking up an issue after the election, and working it hard, and letting MM know he inspired you. I think that would mean more to him than just about anything.
What he needs to know is that we appreciate him, think about him, and will do some heavy work to reclaim our party and our country.
:)

"Will they ever trust us again?" It is a compilation of letters and e-mails he received from soldiers. Extremely compelling and heart wrenching stuff.
Thanks Michael...

But it makes me cringe when I see him talking about Kerry. Every candidate he has ever endorsed has lost.
