Just got back from President Kerry rally in Boca @ FAU!
May as well call him President Kerry now so we can get used to it for the next 8 YEARS! Anyho, holy cow, there was NO END in sight to the crowd there! Man, I almost have hope for the hellhole home state of mine Florida! (Key word: almost!) The SS (Secret disService) were jerks, unlike a month ago's Palm Beach Convention Centre rally. Threatening to arrest people for just asking why can't they speed up the lines by moving these VIP people to anohter line than the one I was in lucky me, and these VIP's were cutting EVERYONE off who'd waited there 2 & 1/2 HOURS! Gee, nothing like good old intimidation. Otherwise, it was damn fine!

Anybody else go? Don't let me be the only one out of what must have been 20,000 people post here damnit!

Lu Cifer, representing the committee to increase the population of Crawford, TX, by exactly one moron come Jan. 20, 2005.

1. There were a couple of us there!
Here's one thread:

There's another thread on the Florida boards too.

Man, what an awesome time! Only time I ran into any SS, they were making the Bushies leave, before a riot broke out. They called the Boca police and we didn't see any other Bushies after that, except a couple guys wandering around with Viva Bush signs. I guess they were allowed to stay because they weren't inciting a riot or threatening to run anyone over.

If you saw a tall woman with a tie-dyed bandana with Peace signs on it, that was me. :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

8. I went!!!
I drove 1 1/2 hours to get there, stood in line for 2 1/2 hours, and then was so far back I could hardly see the stage. But man, was it awesome! Teresa and John Kerry both are energetic speakers. I am still on an adrenaline rush from it!

I took tons of pictures, but since I was so far away (and standing under a tree with a huge palm falling in my face), I didn't get many of Kerry. I did get some great shots of the crowd, though, and will be putting them up later tonight.

Peace,
Bella
