Man, what a series!

I don't follow baseball and haven't paid much attention since my Tigers won the '84 series and I hardly ever watch TV, but for some reason I had an urge to turn this series on during the third game. That was the most memorable and exciting athletic event I have ever seen - game after game of high drama.

That is "A-Rod" there, no? Isn't this like the highest paid player in the league? Doesn't he play for the strongest franchise in the league? What is he doing so blatantly and intentionally cheating, and then pouting and arguing on national TV and in front of the Yankee Stadium crowd for 5 minutes after he was called out? Doesn't that suggest a win at all costs and the hell with the rules attitude that is similar to the way the Republicans "play ball?"

I kept thinking, this is just what the Republicans are going to do with the election - knock the ball out of our hands just as we go to tag them out hoping they can get away with it, and then argue and pout about it when they are caught cheating.
