I hope CNN gives this story about the missing explosives the attention it deserves.

700,000 pounds of explosives, a pound of which can bring down a plane.

Not only was the Bush administration warned about this before the war, they've kept the knowledge from the world all this time. Before the war the stuff was secure. Now it's gone....WHERE??

I think you have a duty to America to make sure this is given full exposure. This represents another gross failure AND dishonesy by omission of a pretty important piece of information.

1. It most certainly is damning stuff...

The International Atomic Energy Agency publicly warned about the danger of these explosives before the war, and after the invasion it specifically told United States officials about the need to keep the explosives secured, European diplomats said in interviews last week. Administration officials say they cannot explain why the explosives were not safeguarded, beyond the fact that the occupation force was overwhelmed by the amount of munitions they found throughout the country.

It seems the only focus was on Saddam Hussein -- trophy for Poppy.
