For me, it always comes back to Hannity. Coulter is a caricature of herself, Limbaugh is a blowhard junkie, Carlson just got de-pantsed on national TV, Ingraham is a recovering alkie punchboard, Savage is clinically insane, Novak has one foot in the grave, and Boortz is just plain stupid. But Hannity. I swear, the hair on the back of my neck stands up at the mere sound of his voice.

I don't take Ann seriously. I am now boycotting any show with her as a guest. Why infect your life with her? She doesn't know the issues. She's all facade and snide comments; no substance.
Rush, however, speaks with authority, has a huge following, has some knowledge, and is the true mouthpiece of the Bush administration. He only gives one side. But people believe him. He's biased and lies through omission. But he's a master propagandist. He and his followers scare me.

Ann Coulter exaggerates her venom to such a degree that I just dismiss her as a shameless self-promoter who isn't nearly as dangerous as she would have us believe.

But Sean Hannity is so far gone that if George Bush killed an orphan live on Fox News, Hannity would argue that Little Timmy had ties to al Qaeda, and that anyone who calls the President a murderer just doesn't understand the nature of the war on terror.

Even if I could tolerate her voice, she's snotty with her callers (even those who agree with her), too quick to tell us about whoever "Lee" is, not nearly as good with impressions as she seems to think she is, and the preachiest one of the bunch where abortion is concerned.

Hannity is actually tougher to listen to UNTIL you realize that he is working for the other side. Then, when you hear him sounding like an ignorant ass, you realize that he's making his own side look bad and all of a sudden it's actually fun to listen to.

Ingraham is clearly five or ten times as bright as Hannity is, but listening to her drivel is agony, except for when she tries to match wits with an educated guest (then we're back to the Schadenfruede I get from listening to Hannity).
