How do you recognize a Dominionist activist?
This guy pulls up to our picket of a Sinclair broadcaster last week. Yells insults at us for 15 minutes straight, no obscenities, but in front of his daughter, apparently, who sits in the front passenger seat of his old stretch van and laughs. Doing that in front of his daughter seems strange for ANYONE except some kind of Nazi.

He then shows up at our weekly rally downtown, wearing an OBL mask and carrying signs that are supposed to be pro-Bush, but really just confuse the traffic. He tells us he is a union carpentar and has SEVEN kids; old stretch van shows up later, yep 7 kids alright.

White guy, late 30's, close cropped hair, wife appears to have dyed black hair and uses heavy eyeliner.

Does this sound like a Dominionist family?

Look in the phone book and at bill-boards etc.

That makes them a cartel that trades on the name of the Lord, doesn't it?

3. No.
So far you've said nothing about his views on the separation of church and state, only prodded him with stereotypes.

4. It's a little hard to get into a decent discussion on the curb.

I'm assuming that since he is a Bush supporter, he's all for government that implements the will of "Christianity" and believes that the destiny of the U.S. is to help "Jesus" dominate the world (by means of a trojan horse they are calling "democracy").

Don't drink the kool-aid!

6. Most Bush* supporters I know are nothing like that.

I'm sure some are, but that's not my point.

Are you telling me not to drink the Kool-Aid? I associate Kool-Aid drinking more with things like dehumanizing enemies and the like. Or refusing to think unprejudicially of people.
