Why are you still watching cnn?
We know their credibility is shot. We know they're whores for the moron*. We know they spin spin spin everything. We know it's more about personality than news.

Then why don't you join us and turn the shit off.

2. Unfortunately, as long as these whores are on
We have to see what they are spinning so that we can counteract it to people who get their news from them. But it is very disheartening to watch it and I recommend minimal exposure.

10. I disagree
I haven't had cable in over 5 years, and I know what they're saying.

After all, I visit DU almost daily.

4. I cut most of it out weeks ago.
For a while there I'd see at least some snippets of CNN every day and also watch other news channels. Now I'm limiting my exposure to TV news because I don't want to fret over every poll or waste my entire evening e-mailing CNN about their coverage. I do keep up with the news, but I also give myself unwinding time.

Besides, when Moses came down from the mountains with the tablets, he didn't need CNN either.

6. No thy enemy
It's important to monitor what the media is reporting to the public. When I discuss current events with someone I can at least have some basis as to why they think Saddam Hussein is linked to 9/11 or why they think Hussein had weapons of mass destruction. CNN is the worst news station on cable even worse than FOx. Fox is so obviously biased that only a die hard conservative could watch it and think they were being objective.

CNN clouds the issues with BS and spin instead of informing the public they guise their bias in a fog of deception that makes it difficult for the general public to discern the facts and know the truth.

8. there are so many other sources available
Just following the links in LBN will get you more information in a day than you'll get from those whores in a month. If nobody watchs their crap they lose ratings, small ratings mean they can's sell airtime.

9. After Labor Day, I went cold turkey!
I get my cable news from Countdown and The Daily Show.

But I spend a lot more time reading on the Internet. I'm a lot better off for it. It seems like the evening news isn't watchable anymore.

Thought: If we don't watch the news and the Freepers think that the news is too biased to the left, will anyone be watching the news in the next couple of years?

11. It is not Fox News. -- Lou Dobbs, Anderson Cooper.

That's three reasons. Here are two more:
Carville is on Cross Fire sometimes.
Begalla is on Cross Fire other times.

The other day someone said Republicans Watch Fox and Dems Watch CNN. I wanted to correct them and say Repubs watch Fox and Dems watch whatever is left.
