more utter bull, he voted reducing military as recommended by Sec. of D at the time, Cheney, that was the peace dividend. the intel cut he proposed was for a satellite program they did not go ahead with and were using the cash for a slush fund. his bill was defeated and a bill sponsored by the Rs cutting twice as much was subsequently passed. Although I voted for the Iraq War, now I am against it and refuse to admit that I voted for it.
he did not vote for war. he voted to give the prez the authority to use force as a last resort after obtaining the support of the UN security council, after all diplomatic aveneues were exhausted if sadaam did not cooperate (which he was doing) so bushiw had some meat to go to the UN with.
