Hillary Clinton-It Takes a Village
Never read the book but many claimed tis policies are socialist or social democratic. I am a democrat but also a socialist so if they truly are i would enjoy reading it. Should I pick it up or is this just more freeper lies?

That's a bunch of RW drivel.

2. It is a great book

...and the freepers who would read it would agree. It specifically addresses that we should look out for all children and their needs, not just our own. It doesn't speak at all about more government restrictions. Freeper lies.

3. I still regret not replying to a RW op-ed piece written by
some wing nut who had never read the book.

This wing nut claimed that "it takes a whole village to raise a child" was nonsense because Japanese mothers raise their children all alone.

That's just plain wrong. Japanese neighborhoods are like small towns, and everyone knows everyone else's business. Schoolteachers take an interest in their students' personal lives to a degree that would seem intrusive here. I even saw a school notice posted on a friend's refrigerator telling parents that they should inform the school if they went somewhere during summer vacation. Japan also has universal health care (although it's not as generous as the European versions), and some cities have subsidized daycare.

5. So with 1000+ posts, you still don't know if freepers lie about Hillary?
I'll guess yes. They do lie
