I have sad news. One of John Kerry's most steadfast supporters has passed away. Sol Londe was among the most wonderful people that I have ever known in my entire life. I will miss his solid optimism and deep compassion for others. The world shines a little brighter for the light he brought to it. Sol worked tirelessly for enriching children's lives as a noted physician, especially for the less fortunate. He also worked at every chance to promote John Kerry at our second Kerry table in Encino back during the "low" days of the early primaries. I was greatly blessed to have known this noble human being. If you're worn out at this point in the campaign (as you should be) and wondering if you can manage to put the extra effort into the final sprint here at the last, remember this frail 99 year old man who came out in the cold to work for Kerry back during the primaries. He once told me with rock-solid conviction, "John Kerry will be the best president we could ever hope for. We have to get him elected."
Amen, Sol. We'll miss you.
Sam
