The most stupid by far is 43, followed by Reagan who had the excuse of having a brain disease, however, there were plenty of Bush-isms and screw-up under 41 as well. Don't forget that Poppy didn't even know how to shop in a grocery store! He also had to pick Dan Quayle, who at best has an I.Q. of 75 or 80, to stand next to, in order to make himself look a little better.

Ford would be fourth on the list, famous as he was for playing too much football without a helmet, in LBJ's colorful phrase. That said, when Ford is interviewed today, he is an order of magnitude of intelligence greater than the above three morons -- and this after a lifetime of falling-down alcoholism and a stroke!

Relatively ineffectual, but I always thought he was a nice guy. He's certainly not reactionary like the current administration, though that's not saying much.

Oh, and no, I'm not a freeper, before anybody starts accusing. I just always try to positively reinforce any Republican who seems to be leaning in the right direction even if I strongly disagree with them on everything else. It's one of the big differences between us and the other side, who seem to only praise Democrats who slavishly follow their lead, like Miller.

Or something to that effect (I refuse to bring out my undergraduate textbooks). Raw intelligence???? What is that? In the Army people who had IQ's (as recorded by their battery of tests) considered that individuals with a "score" of over 120 did not have a high likelihood of successful completion of Officer Candidate School. People that "score" too highly on the Armed Services Battery of tests, the Stanford-Binet, or, any other "IQ" tests don't tend to fall into the "good old boy" follow the orders and don't question the order type of folks. Though this is not necessarily true, it used to be the prevailing perspective of the military 30 years ago. I rather doubt that it has changed much.

I guess I still don't know what "RAW INTELLIGENCE" is, but, I did vote for "W"!

Ford messed up with his W.I.N. buttons. Whip Inflation Now. The Viet Nam War was just over. Servicemen were coming home. And inflation was going out of control. He couldn't do anything right.

Carter, in short, is a better ex-president than he ever was as President. Carter messed up the Iran Hostage situation. This led more than anything the Election of Ronny Ray-gun. Oh, yeah. Anybody remember Billie Beer?
