I just got cursed out by a bunch of Australians for saying i support Kerry

I couldn't sleep, so i went into a chatroom on PalTalk. PalTalk is voice and text chat. The room i entered was called "Who is best for the USA, Bush or Kerry." I heard a bunch of Nazi Australians talking trash about Kerry. I told them i was voting for Kerry, and they went nuts cursing me out! Seconds later the room moderator kicked me out. It was sad/funny.

These chatrooms seem to attract the scum of the earth....literally.

I lived in Australia for 4 years recently. Everyone I knew HATED Bush with a passion. Anti-Bush T-shirts and posters are everywhere. The major cities (especially Melbourne and Sydney) are VERY left-leaning. Unfortunately, a lot of the rural areas do tend to breed more right-wing kooks...but we have plenty of that here in US too as you know.

My wife is Australian and she's been doing tons of volunteer work for the Kerry campaign here.

I think Howard keeps winning there because the opposition party keeps putting up very flawed candidates. Howard's popularity is not as large as it might seem to the international observer.

And yeah, forget Foster's, that's made in Canada, it's basically a fraud (just like Outback Steakhouse...no one in Australia has ever heard of a "bloomin' onion").
