its a political discussion forum I USED to frequent, but the repuglican pit bulls outnumber rational discourse. I thought I would go back, under a different nick, to tweak them two weeks before the election.

but I honestly can't stand the way they debate: the list is too long, but I especially hate the demand for links, then ignoring the links you provide, then complaining you never provide links...its just their way of making you chase your tail.
I also hate the ad hominems instead of addressing your point, and I hate the "america hater" label for criticising bush...yadda yadda yadda...you all know the drill.

I am not going to make it there until the election. There ARE other dems there trying to hang in there, but I no longer have the stomach for it. After being here, the contrast is like night and day.

I am distressed on this level, though....even when Kerry wins (and he will) in a week, these neanderthals will still be here, still be around. Still practicing that ignorance is strength routine. How sad is this for america? I mean, we have a group that resiliently resists information, abuses anyone they disagree with......meh!
