Question about "60 Minutes", Bremer and Al Qaqaa...

Didn't "60 Minutes" use as an excuse to not air the "Niger yellow cake"
segment that is was to close to the election? If so, why are they now airing this segment on the missing explosives 2 days before the election? Also, didn't Paul, Jerry, Moe or whatever Bremer calls himself, say earlier this month that we didn't have enough troops to prevent looting. Why isn't somebody asking him about this Al QaQaa thing?:shrug:

1. I expect '60 Minutes' doesn't see a segment on al Qaqaa...

... as controversial since the issue is all over the news already.

However, the yellowcake story would be revisiting a story previously forgotten, and so they'd be blamed for making it an issue.

It's total crap, of course, since NOT REPORTING on the yellowcake story is, in effect, showing bias in favor of Bush. Koppel nailed it in his "Closing Thought" from the Oct 14th Nightline show on the Vietnamese witnesses from Kerry's silver star battle.

"Because, not reporting something you know can be just as much of a political statement as reporting it."
