Are Bush and Rove attempting to relegate black citizens to second |

class status? That can be the only conclusion one can draw from their attempts to disenfrachise black voters by every trick possible. If they are allowed to succed at this game, they will come for all of us next. One victim at a time.Behind their nice sounding slogans lurk a scheme to undermine democracy and our Constitution. They know they cannot win when all citizens exercise their voting rights, so they want to ensure that some citizens, especially ones they know are against their policies, are deprived of their rights.

When they came for the Arabs, I said nothing because I was not Arab.
When they came for the Blacks, I said nothing, because I was not black.
(Here's hoping they don't come for the poor or unemployed cause then I'll be next.)

... to Bush's election? If yes, that's the answer to your question. I truly don't think it's prompted by any innate hatred of minorities (although both Bush I and II are rather dismissive of minorities in practical terms).
But, they are a threat to Bush's aims in this election, because most are Democrats. In that there is elucidation.
Cheers.
